A restaurant kitchen is a busy place. It might not be so hectic if the restaurant only serve one dish, but because this is not the case for the vast majority, the kitchen needs to be set up for success. One of the overlooked necessities in a kitchen is the sink. Without the sink it is difficult to prepare food because there is no water. Some items need to be soaked and rinsed before and after chopping or preparing. Without a sink, this would be difficult.
Because a sink is so very necessary, it is a good idea to install compartment sinks. Compartment sinks are those that have a couple different sinks built into one sink area. These sinks come in many different varieties such as two, three and even four compartment sinks. The more sinks, the better, usually but how many compartments suitable for any one kitchen is largely based on available space.
