The R in BLUR60-D2R-HC means the two-drawer bank is on the right-hand end of the cabinet, with the shelved swing door occupying the left. Blue Air builds the mirror image as the D2L. The layout is set at the factory, so decide from the way the station is oriented before ordering — the sections cannot be swapped in the field.

This 60-3/8" cabinet is rated at 16.7 cu. ft., roughly 3.6 cu. ft. more than the 48" two-section build, while keeping the same 30" depth and 30-29/32" body height. You get the same two-drawer plus one-door arrangement, just with a wider door compartment and more room on the shelving for cases and tall containers.

Each drawer is dimensioned around a 6" deep food pan, so standard 6" full-size and fractional inserts drop in without modification. That depth suits portioned proteins, prepped produce, dressings and sauces, and the metal drawer handles are built for pulling a full pan open all through service.

The cabinet body measures 30-29/32" (785 mm) tall and the factory 4" swivel casters add about 5" (127 mm), putting the installed height near 35-29/32" (912 mm). That clears a standard 36" counter, but only just. Blue Air offers 2.5" diameter casters as an option where the opening or an uneven floor makes that margin uncomfortable.

The self-contained condensing unit is mounted at the rear on an easy-sliding assembly, so the coil can be drawn out for cleaning rather than worked on in place. Leave the back of the cabinet accessible instead of boxing it into millwork; on four swivel casters the 247 lb refrigerator rolls forward far enough to get behind it.
