The Miele PFD 408 U is the HygienePro model of Miele's MasterLine range and the only one in the series classified to NSF/ANSI 3, the standard US health inspectors look for on commercial sanitizing dishwashers. Every cycle finishes with a 185°F (85°C) final rinse, the shortest program runs in 15 minutes on hot fill, and two full wash levels clean up to 152 plates or 8 baskets per hour using about 4.6 gallons of fresh water per cycle. It adds AutoOpen drying, AutoClose, a code-protectable door lock, and an aerosol steam condenser, and is built for a 28,000-cycle service life. This version runs on 240V / 60 Hz three phase, 20 A with a NEMA L15-20 twist-lock plug.
