ENGINEERING SPECIFICATION: JR Smith 8050

The JR Smith 8050 is a 100-lb. grease trap designed for commercial kitchens, restaurants, institutions, and food processing areas where wastewater contains grease, fats, and oils. Constructed from Duco-coated fabricated steel, this 50 GPM grease trap features a PDI-rated A design with an internal air relief bypass and a bronze clean-out plug. A flow control fitting regulates the intake, allowing the interceptor to capture over 90% of incoming grease. The Uni-Lock cover design enables quick removal for routine cleaning. It can be installed on the floor, semi-recessed, or fully recessed with the cover flush to the finished floor. Note: The outlet location from the bottom of the interceptor cannot be adjusted.
