The cooking surface is equipped with reversible heavy-duty cast iron grates and cast iron radiants, which are supported by a 14-gauge stainless steel hotplate 'U'-frame for added strength and durability. The broiler also includes a 4-inch high 14-gauge perimeter splash guard to help contain grease and debris, keeping the work area clean.

With a total of 80,000 BTUs delivered by four flute-type stainless-steel burners, the AERB 24 EM offers powerful and even heating across its 24-inch deep cooking area. The burners are spaced every 6 inches to provide full coverage, ensuring rapid recovery under heavy loads. The unit includes manual ignition with stainless-steel standing pilot lights and Zamak flame control knobs for precise heat adjustment. A standard gas regulator is included, along with a gas conversion kit for easy switching between natural gas and LPG.
