The Blue Air Commercial Refrigeration BLPT72-D2R-HC is the right-hand version of Blue Air's two-drawer, two-door prep table: the drawers sit in the right section and the self-closing swing doors cover the middle and left. Handing matters more than operators expect — putting the drawers on the side the cook actually stands on saves a step on every ticket. Underneath the 18-pan drop-in rail you get 20.2 cu. ft. of R-290-cooled storage with two adjustable wire shelves, held between 33 °F and 39 °F.

Drawer Bank on the Right End
Two drawers occupy the right section and take 6" deep food pans. If your build sequence runs right to left, or the cook's station sits at that end of the counter, this is the hand that keeps the reach short.
Doors Across the Middle and Left
The middle and left sections are enclosed by self-closing swing doors with lifetime-guaranteed Ni-Cr plated metal handles. Each door is designed to open easily and carries a durable gasket that can be swapped out without a service visit.
Two Shelves, Height You Choose
Epoxy-coated wire shelving inside both door bays mounts at adjustable heights, and Blue Air offers extra shelves as an accessory. Set them to whatever your par stock actually arrives in rather than working around a fixed rack.
Eighteen Pans Under an Insulated Cover
The rail takes eighteen 1/6 size, 4" deep pans, all supplied with the unit, and closes under an insulated cover carrying a stainless steel divider. Fans push cold air through the enclosed drop-in area so pans stay in the holding band all shift.
Digital Monitor with Open Alarm
A self-diagnostic digital control puts the cabinet temperature on a front display and runs automatic evaporator fan motor delay. If a door is not fully closed, a visual and audible alarm sounds before warm air costs you a bay of product.
R-290 Charge, HFC-Free Foam
The 1/4 HP self-contained system uses R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which does not deplete ozone, and the panels are foamed with cyclopentane that contains no hydrofluorocarbons. An electrodeposition-coated evaporator resists corrosion and holds its heat-transfer rate.
Left hand or right hand? the D2R places its drawers at the right end with doors in the middle and left; the BLPT72-D2L-HC is the exact mirror. Decide by where the operator stands, not by the picture. The cabinet measures 72-3/8" wide and the listed 37-19/32" height does not include 5" (127 mm) for the casters. Leave the rear face reachable — the condensing unit slides out from the back for service.

What is the difference between the BLPT72-D2R-HC and the D2L?
They are mirror images of one another. The D2R carries its two drawers in the right section with swing doors on the middle and left; the D2L reverses that, putting the drawers on the left. Capacity, pan count, refrigeration and construction are identical, so the only decision is which end of your line needs drawer access.
Which sections hold the wire shelves?
Both door bays — the middle and the left — contain one adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelf each, for two shelves in total. Because shelving height is adjustable and extra shelves are available from Blue Air, you can tune each bay around the containers you actually store.
Are the top pans and cutting board included?
Yes. Eighteen standard 1/6 size, 4" deep pans ship with the unit, along with the insulated pan cover and its stainless steel divider. A 9-1/2" deep, 1/2" thick cutting board and the side rail bracket that holds it are also included.
What electrical supply does the BLPT72-D2R-HC need?
